Brandon McCutcheon, MD

Co-founder & Chief Medical Officer

Brandon McCutcheon, MD, is a neurosurgeon, inventor, medical device entrepreneur, and author of over 40 peer-reviewed publications. Having previously worked on developing a novel spinal implant and AI note-writing solution for physicians while at Mayo Clinic, he completed the Stanford Biodesign and Innovation Fellowship in 2020. During that time, he was inspired to launch Spirair with James Kintzing, PhD, after observing the significant unmet need for a minimally invasive approach to treat nasal neptal deviation.

Brandon is enthusiastic about contributing to Spirair’s vision of developing innovative solutions to help patients breathe better. Brandon holds a B.S. in Chemistry. He completed his MD at the University of California, San Diego, and a Masters in Public Policy at Harvard University.
